Zoë has worked in diagnostic microbiology for over 25 years, with 10 years working in virology and since then working at the UKHSA National Mycology Reference Laboratory. Zoë has been a member of the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) for over 25 years and is registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
Zoë has a particular interest in Quality and has a Certificate in Expert Practice in Quality Management from the IBMS and also holds a Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management provided by the NHS. As a biomedical scientist, Zoë has been involved in all aspects of diagnostic work relating to fungal infections.
